This retired Town of Rosendale police car still can provide essntial services to the community. The primary mission for this vehicle is that of Command. The Fire Chief has full use of this vehicle. It identifies him/her to the public, providing him/her with a quick response to an emergency from anywhere within the Towns of Rosendale and Marbletown. It has a full compliment of command and control tools. When the Chief is out of the area it the vehicle is left at the firehouse to be used by the members to respond to Medical emergencies, motor vehicle crashes; traffic control situations and many other public service calls. This vehicle has also been designated to be used when Company members go to long distance training.

Command Console
The Commanding officer has at his disposal a low band mobile and a high band mobile radio. The low band has Ulster County fire frequncies 1 through 5; Stone Ridge Channel 6; Inter-County; Statewide Fire; and Marbletown Highway Department. The Highband Mobile has Ulster County EMS 1 & 2; Rosendale Police; MRD; Kingston Fire 1 & 3; Bloomington Fire; DEC; Rosendale Highway Department; and (2) private frequencies.
Trunk
The only storage space is in the trunk. We carry (4) EMS kits: an adult truama kit; a pediatric kit; a defibrilator; and a suction unit. There is also an SCBA; traffic control kit for four containing road flares, traffic vests, gloves, traffic wonds, portable radios and traffic cones; a set of command vests; an accountability board and a water rescue kit containing (2) life jackets and (2) 75' throw ropes.
